AIRREX AH-300i INFRARED HEATER – PLEASANT HEAT IN A COMPACT SIZE
The Airrex AH-300i infrared heater produces safe infrared radiation. The heat produced by the infrared heater spreads evenly into the structures of the space or site to be heated. A separate fan is not needed. The heating effect is quick, and the patented oil burner and exhaust piping utilise practically 100% of the energy included in the fuel.
Airrex is low in emissions
Thanks to utilising the fuel completely as heating energy, the emissions of the Airrex heater are so low that separate exhaust piping outside the heated space is practically not needed. The heaters run on biodiesel made of renewable materials, ordinary diesel or fuel oil.
Safety comes first
The Airrex infrared heater is very safe. The device has versatile safety systems. If the heater shakes, it is about to fall unexpectedly or a disturbance occurs in it, its comprehensive safety system immediately turns off the burner and disconnects fuel feeding.
Servicing and spare parts available
You can find all necessary spare parts for Airrex heaters on our shelf. If necessary, our service vehicle will arrive and service your heater anywhere in Finland. After product activation, a three-year warranty is granted for Airrex diesel heaters.
No need for an exhaust pipe in the Airrex AH-300i infrared heater
This heater does not emit burning smells or visible smoke. The AH-300i is ideal for garages, summer cottages and terraces. An exhaust pipe to the outside is only necessary when the heater is used in premises where people sleep. There is no need to connect a separate exhaust pipe to the Airrex AH-300i infrared heater when using the heater in garages, terraces, party tents, etc.
An infrared heater running on biofuel
The AH-300i heater can run on Neste MY biodiesel, which is made from food waste, and on normal diesel and fuel oil. In temperatures below 10 °C, winter-grade fuel must be used. The Airrex AH-300i heater is extremely inexpensive to use. On full power, the heater only uses about one litre of fuel per hour.
No fan – no dust
This infrared heater has no fan. The infrared radiation produced by the device heats materials instead of air, thereby also heating the air in the space. The infrared heat is distributed evenly in all directions and feels pleasant even right next to the heater. The infrared heat produced by Airrex AH-300i spreads more evenly than heat produced by a fan-equipped heater.
Quiet and easy to use
The heater is very easy to start using because fixed installation is not required. The heater is on castor wheels, which makes it easy to move where you want it. The Airrex AH-200i is extremely quiet at only 48 dB.

The Airrex AH-300i has undergone major revamping. Compared to its predecessor, the Airrex AH-300, the i-model includes remote control and monitoring by mobile phone, new graphite grey colouring, a quieter and improved burner, redesigned ceramic piping, a stronger protective grid and a completely redesigned control panel. The Airrex AH-300i will now continue to operate even after a possible power outage! The Airrex AH-300i also features an improved fuel tank and a sealed fuel cap to prevent fuel spillage.

Heater with remote control
The Airrex AH-300i can be controlled remotely from anywhere in the world via the Airrex app. In the app, you can see in real time, for example, the temperature of the heated space, the amount of fuel and whether the heater is running right now. Any error messages are also displayed in the app. You can now control the heater as if you were physically next to the device, with the exception that a device that is completely shut down cannot be started by remote control. The heater can be connected to an existing Wi-Fi network. However, in the absence of a Wi-Fi network, it can be connected directly to the mobile phone network using an optional plug-in device.
Redesigned burner and piping comply with the EU Emissions Directive
The Airrex AH-300i’s burner has been redesigned. The burner is now quieter, more reliable and, best of all, all Airrex burners comply fully with the EU Emissions Directive, which entered into force at the beginning of 2020, meaning, among other things, lower nitrogen oxide emissions. With the revamped burner, the piping has also been redesigned for cleaner combustion.
New control panel
The control panel for Airrex heaters has also been completely rebuilt. It is now futuristically metallic, a perfect match for the darker graphite grey heater. The redesigned control panel is built to work together with the mobile app – both functionally and visually. One of the great things about the new control panel with its mirror-like surface is its ability to cope with power outages! After a power outage, the device will continue to operate with the same settings as before the outage.
Sealed cap and stronger protective grid
When the fuel tank was redesigned, the fuel cap was also replaced with a fully sealed model that prevents fuel spillage when moving the heater. In addition, the grid protecting the ceramic piping has been reinforced and improved.

Yes, you can! Airrex heaters are fully functional even without a network connection. In this case, only the remote monitoring and control features are disabled.
The Airrex mobile app works in the same way as the control panel on the device. Airrex i heaters can be controlled remotely from anywhere in the world via the Airrex app. The app shows you the following in real time, for example:
– temperature of the heated space
– fuel level
– whether the heater is running right now
– error messages.

Yes. The new Airrex i heaters will continue to operate after a power outage in the same operating mode as before the outage.
Airrex i heaters have a LED control panel with remote control. The display can be used to check the temperature, timer and error codes. You can adjust the thermostat and timer and check the fuel level. The control panel also tells you if the Wi-Fi/Bluetooth connection is enabled. The device is switched on from the control panel; a device that is shut down cannot be started by remote control for safety reasons.
Yes. The device also works like the previous models. You can control it with the control panel on the device or with the remote control provided.
The length of the power outage does not matter, because the data is stored in the flash memory, which is a non-volatile type of memory. The data is retained for up to 10 years even if the power is turned off. You can also use a remote-controlled power outlet.
Airrex i heaters can only be remotely controlled when the heater is first turned on from the power button. However, you can drop the desired temperature to as low as 0 °C. In this case, the temperature of the space will not fall below freezing, and you can raise the temperature by remote control when desired, for example, to 15 or 20 °C. If the device is completely shut down, it cannot be started via the app.
Any router/mobile connection device can be used with heaters as long as it supports 2.4 GHz frequency and is small enough to fit in the hole provided (see picture). While most new routers work with Airrex i heaters, we recommend that you use the model available through us, because we have tested it and found it to work. The device will work with any operator’s card as long as the network is good.
If Wi-Fi is lost, the device will continue to operate normally with the current settings until the fuel runs out. If the device finds the network again at any point, you can control it again through the app. The device does not require the use of the app or a network connection. You can use the physical control panel of the device or the remote control provided.

Yes, it does. Infrared heat spreads evenly over very long distances. Many mistakenly think that a fan is needed to transfer heat from one end of a hall to another, for example. A fan is not needed – the infrared heater heats up material, such as the wall, floor and all the materials in the space.
The infrared heater heats material. A fan heater heats air. When you open an overhead door of a hall, for example, the warm air inside escapes, and cold air gets in. In a hall equipped with an infrared heater, all materials are warm so a lot of heat energy is retained even after the air change. In a hall equipped with a fan heater, all the heat escapes out of the door, and heating must be started over at a much lower temperature. As such, the infrared heater needs much less energy.
When the fuel used is burned almost completely, it does not create odours or dangerous emissions. Carbon monoxide is formed by incomplete combustion, with too little oxygen. When combustion is complete, no carbon monoxide is formed. The product development history of Airrex goes back over 20 years, so the heater’s operation has been honed to perfection.
When the heater starts/stops, a mild odour of fuel may came from the exhaust pipe. This is because, upon starting/stopping, the heater does not quite manage to completely burn the fuel mist from the nozzle. The unpleasant odour is not dangerous. You can prevent any odour upon starting/stopping by using Neste Green Heat.
The exhaust emissions of Airrex AH-200i have been studied and measured in Finland at the energy technology laboratory of Kymenlaakso University of Applied Sciences (KYAMK). Since 1992, the emission measurement laboratory at KYAMK has conducted exhaust gas measurement for power plants, the process industry and shipping companies. Airrex AH-200i consumes 0,95 – 1,14 L per hour when running. The amount of fuel required to heat a hall, for example, is influenced by many factors: the roof and wall insulation thickness, number of doors and windows, how often doors/windows are opened, whether cold equipment is brought into the hall, etc.
During the first few days, the infrared heater consumes more fuel than normally because all the materials in the space are cold. Once the materials warm up to the desired temperature, the consumption is reduced. As such, the amount of fuel consumed per day may vary significantly.
When you connect a car’s cigarette lighter socket to an inverter of at least 150 W, you can also run Airrex AH-200i on the power from the cigarette lighter. This makes it possible to use the heater in moving maintenance vehicles, for example.
Yes, it is. Every part of Airrex AH-200i heater can be replaced if needed. The importer has all the spare parts in stock, so the delivery time is very short.
Airrex infrared heater does not release enough moisture for it to condense on windows. When the infrared heater is first used in a space where only fan heaters have been used previously, there may be moisture on windows. When the infrared heater heats materials, moisture trapped in structures is effectively removed by the infrared heat. If moisture occurs when the Airrex infrared heater is used, we advise raising the temperature to approximately 20 °C for a few weeks and ensuring sufficient ventilation. This will remove the moisture from the heated space.
The device has an oil burner equipped with an electric fuel pump, which recycles the exhaust through pipes with ceramic coatings, giving out the heat as infrared radiation.
The triple combustion process guarantees completely pure combustion; the heater does not need a separate exhaust pipe, which conserves all heat for utilisation. Normal ventilation is sufficient.
Normally, the fuel that enters the combustion chamber of heaters after they are switched off generates soot and unpleasant odours. According to laboratory tests, the fuel injection of Airrex heaters cuts off very quickly, minimising the formation of soot and odours.
A metal honeycomb installed inside the combustion chamber burns residual gases and ensures efficient and steady combustion. The 75/100/165-millimetre alternating diameter of the tubular combustion chamber makes the combustion more efficient and minimises the amount of non-combusted gases. The rubber tube for inlet air ensures the supply of fresh air to the burner, which also improves the efficiency of combustion.
The noise reduction system in the exhaust pipe, which compresses and expands the exhaust gases, makes Airrex extremely quiet (only 48 dB).
